IRGC Navy Chief Threatens the U.S.: “We’ll Chase You to the Gulf of America”

Iran's IRGC Navy chief threatens the U.S., vowing global retaliation and warning of missile strikes reaching the Gulf of Mexico.

In a chilling escalation of rhetoric from Tehran, IRGC Navy Commander Ali-Reza Tangsiri issued a direct threat to the United States, vowing retaliation for any attack on Iran and declaring the regime’s capability to strike U.S. forces “anywhere in the world.”

“No one attacks Iran and gets away — we’ll chase them to the Gulf of America if we have to,” Tangsiri warned during a televised speech. He further boasted that Iran’s missile capabilities and the Resistance Front — a network of terror proxies spanning the Middle East — are “non-negotiable.”

This latest threat underscores the true nature of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC): not a conventional military, but the world’s largest state-sponsored terrorist organization, responsible for orchestrating attacks against Israel, U.S. forces, and Western targets globally. The IRGC has long served as the operational arm of Iran’s efforts to destabilize the region, funding, training, and directing terrorist groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Houthis, and militias in Iraq and Syria.

Not Empty Words — Backed by Global Terror

Tangsiri’s threats are not bluster—they’re backed by action. Since the October 7 massacre, which saw over 1,160 Israelis slaughtered in the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust, Iran’s proxies have launched daily attacks on Israel. On April 13, 2024, Iran conducted the largest ballistic missile assault in history, launching over 120 ballistic missiles, 30 cruise missiles, and 170 drones at Israeli cities. On October 1, 2024, it escalated further, launching 200 ballistic missiles aimed at exterminating every Israeli.

Now, Tehran is turning its sights on the United States.

Gulf of America

Threatening to strike inside the Gulf of America—thousands of miles from Iran—crosses a line. It reflects the regime’s increasing boldness, especially as U.S. aircraft carriers deploy to the Middle East to deter further Houthi and Hezbollah aggression. The IRGC Navy, notorious for harassing U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz, is now telegraphing ambitions of taking this maritime confrontation global.

Iran’s goal is clear: export terror, threaten the West, and dare the free world to respond.

The Resistance Front: A Terror Empire

When Tangsiri refers to the “Resistance Front,” he’s referring to Iran’s global terror empire:

  • Hezbollah: Thousands of rockets fired at northern Israel from Lebanon
  • Houthis: Long-range missiles aimed at Israeli cities and attacks on U.S. ships
  • Iraqi & Syrian Militias: Drone and missile strikes on American and Israeli targets
  • Hamas & Islamic Jihad: Perpetrators of the October 7 massacre

These are not independent actors—they are Iran’s foot soldiers, executing its vision of regional domination and the destruction of Israel.

A Moment of Truth for the West

The world must take Iran’s threats seriously. Tehran is no longer hiding its intent—it’s broadcasting it to the world. The time for appeasement is over. The IRGC’s terror apparatus must be dismantled, and Iran’s regime must face the consequences for decades of murder, subversion, and war.
