Iran Demands UN Action After Calling for Israel’s Eradication

Iran demands UN condemn Trump, hours after Khamenei calls for Israel’s eradication—exposing Tehran’s genocidal hypocrisy and double standards.

Iran’s regime once again exposed its true face to the international community. Just hours after Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei declared that “Israel must be eradicated,” Iran’s envoy to the United Nations had the audacity to demand that the UN Security Council condemn former U.S. President Donald Trump for his stern warnings against Iranian aggression.

Khamenei’s genocidal rhetoric was not a slip of the tongue—it reflects decades of the regime’s core ideology. From orchestrating the October 7 massacre in Israel through its terror proxies to launching over 200 ballistic missiles directly at Israeli cities in 2024, Iran has proven that its objective is not peace, but the annihilation of the Jewish state.

Yet Tehran expects the world to ignore this genocidal intent and instead rebuke President Trump, who merely reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself against terror. The Iranian envoy’s appeal to the UN—claiming Trump’s remarks violate international law and the UN Charter—would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.

Let us not forget: Iran has violated the UN Charter countless times. It has armed and funded terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, destabilized sovereign nations like Syria and Iraq, and carried out direct missile attacks against civilian populations in Israel. In 2024 alone, it attempted to murder millions of Israelis using long-range missiles in what became the largest ballistic missile attack in recorded history.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has consistently failed to condemn these acts of war. Instead, it has enabled Iran’s narrative by ignoring its atrocities and focusing criticism on Israel for defending its people.

President Trump, who has returned to office with a policy of zero tolerance for terrorism, rightly called out the Iranian regime. Under his leadership, U.S. support for Israel has been restored, with billions in military aid approved to help dismantle Iran’s terror proxies. Trump’s statements weren’t threats—they were a necessary and lawful response to a regime that seeks genocide.

Khamenei’s call for Israel’s destruction and his regime’s demand for legal action against those who oppose terror reveal the same truth: Iran wants to commit atrocities without consequence. It is time for the international community to stop enabling Tehran’s double standards.

Iran is not the victim—it is the arsonist lighting fires across the Middle East. The world must choose between appeasing tyranny or defending the values of democracy and life. And Israel, backed by allies like the United States, will never apologize for choosing life.
