Elite Kfir Brigade Troops Dismantle Weapons Depot and Drone Lab

In a decisive counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria, IDF forces from the elite Kfir Brigade’s Shimshon Battalion successfully located and destroyed a weapons depot and an improvised drone manufacturing lab in the terrorist stronghold of Tulkarm. The operation, conducted on March 6, 2025, is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks in Judea and Samaria.

During the raid, approximately 100 pipe bombs, eight large IEDs, and an advanced remote detonation system were uncovered and neutralized before they could be used in attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces.

Tulkarm has long been a center for terrorist activity, with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives using the city to plan and launch attacks against Israelis. The dismantling of these terror infrastructure sites is a significant blow to the terrorist networks attempting to destabilize the region.
