Israeli security forces have intensified their efforts to eliminate terror threats across Judea and Samaria this week, arresting 70 wanted suspects and seizing multiple illegal weapons in a series of successful counterterrorism operations.

The IDF, alongside the Israel Police and Border Police units, carried out coordinated raids throughout the region to prevent future attacks on Israeli civilians and security personnel. Forces from the IDF’s Tavor Battalion operated specifically in the village of Husan, located in the Etzion Brigade area, arresting nine terrorists responsible for recent stone-throwing attacks on civilian vehicles traveling on Israeli roads.

“These arrests are not just tactical,” said a security official. “They’re part of a broader strategy to disrupt the networks of violence that continue to threaten Israeli lives daily.”
The suspects apprehended in Husan had been involved in coordinated assaults targeting Israeli drivers—a tactic often downplayed internationally but one that has resulted in deaths and serious injuries in the past. The detainees are now in custody and undergoing interrogation.

Throughout the week, Israeli forces operated with surgical precision in both urban and rural areas, confiscating illegal firearms and dismantling weapons caches. These proactive raids are crucial in maintaining stability in Judea and Samaria, especially as Iran-backed terror groups continue to incite and fund violence against Israel.
The security establishment emphasized that operations will continue as long as threats persist. “We will not allow terror to take root—whether it’s Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or so-called ‘lone wolves’ radicalized by online propaganda,” an IDF spokesperson stated. “Anyone who tries to harm Israeli citizens or soldiers will be found and neutralized.”
The operations underscore Israel’s unwavering commitment to preempting terror before it strikes—protecting Israeli lives and preserving order in a region constantly targeted by Iran’s axis of extremism.
