The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have launched a ground offensive along the coastal axis in the Beit Lahiya region of northern Gaza, intensifying the ongoing campaign to dismantle Hamas and eliminate terrorist threats along the Strip.
Prior to the ground incursion, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) conducted precision airstrikes targeting Hamas anti-tank missile launch positions and key terror infrastructure in the area. The operation aims to secure the northern coastline, a critical zone long exploited by Hamas for launching attacks on Israeli civilians and troops.

Throughout the night, Israeli fighter jets and UAVs struck dozens of terror targets across Gaza, hitting military compounds, weapons depots, and operatives from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Among the targets were combat-ready terrorists, command centers, and infrastructure directly involved in planning and executing attacks against the State of Israel.
“This operation is part of our broader strategy to neutralize every threat against Israeli citizens,” the IDF stated. “Our forces are currently engaging terrorists across the Strip and will continue operating until the last threat is removed.”
The ground offensive in Beit Lahiya represents a strategic move to deny Hamas access to the coast, sever its northern operational capabilities, and clear space for expanded buffer zones protecting Israeli communities near the border.

While international media continues to parrot Hamas casualty figures and spread unverified reports, the IDF remains focused on its mission: to destroy terrorist infrastructure and restore long-term security to the region.
Israel is not waging war on civilians—it is waging war on terrorism. And every operation brings it closer to dismantling Hamas’ military machine and securing peace through strength.
