Israeli security forces continue their determined fight against terrorism in Judea and Samaria. Over the past week, the IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police carried out extensive counterterror operations in the city of Shechem (Nablus), a known hotbed of terrorist activity.
Operating under the Samaria Regional Brigade, forces arrested more than 15 wanted suspects tied to terror activity, confiscated weapons, and interrogated dozens of individuals believed to be involved in incitement and violence. Among the seized items were firearms, terror-related funds, and materials used to spread incitement against Israeli civilians.
The IDF also conducted operations in the village of Madama to suppress ongoing stone-throwing attacks against Israeli motorists. These attacks, often dismissed by international media, have repeatedly proven lethal. Security forces moved swiftly to disrupt the networks behind them, seizing weapons, cash intended for terrorism, and propaganda materials designed to radicalize youth.
“These operations are not just about arrests, they’re about prevention,” said a senior IDF officer. “Every weapon seized, every terrorist detained, is a step toward saving Israeli lives.”

Shechem has long been a sanctuary for terrorist groups including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and newer Iran-backed factions attempting to destabilize the region. The recent wave of arrests is part of a broader IDF campaign to uproot these terror cells before they can export violence into Israel proper.

The IDF reiterated that its operations in Judea and Samaria will continue as long as terror threats persist. “We will leave no safe haven for those who seek to harm Israelis,” an official statement declared. “Every village harboring terrorists will be treated as a combat zone.”
Israel’s security forces remain committed to protecting Israeli citizens from Iran-backed terror and restoring calm across the region through strength, vigilance, and decisive action.
