In a high-precision operation conducted by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) under the direction of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), a Hezbollah terrorist was eliminated in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, Lebanon. The target had been actively involved in directing Hamas terrorists and was instrumental in advancing a serious imminent terror plot against Israeli civilians.

The terrorist, whose identity has not yet been released, represented a “clear and immediate danger,” according to Israeli security officials. His elimination was part of Israel’s ongoing defensive campaign to dismantle Iran’s terror network operating on multiple fronts, from Gaza and Lebanon to Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.

This strike underscores the increasing coordination between Hezbollah and Hamas—both of which are Iranian proxies committed to Israel’s destruction. Iran, through its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has funded, armed, and directed these terrorist groups, enabling them to plot attacks on Israeli civilians from foreign soil.

The Dahiyeh district, a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut, has long been used as a safe haven for terror planning, stockpiling weapons, and hosting Iranian operatives. Today’s strike serves as a clear message: no terrorist who threatens Israeli lives—regardless of where they operate—will be safe.

This is not the first time Hezbollah operatives have played a role in Hamas’ war efforts. Since the October 7 massacre, when over 1,163 Israelis were slaughtered in a barbaric cross-border invasion by Hamas-led forces from Gaza, Hezbollah has joined the war against Israel by launching thousands of rockets from Lebanon into northern Israel. These attacks have forced tens of thousands of Israeli civilians to evacuate border communities.

Israel’s message remains firm: it will take whatever action is necessary to eliminate threats before they materialize. As part of this doctrine, Israel and the Shin Bet will continue to operate wherever required to neutralize terror operatives and protect the citizens of the State of Israel.

The war against Iran’s terror axis is not confined to Gaza. Every Hezbollah commander, every Hamas plotter, and every IRGC-linked terrorist involved in planning the next massacre will be found and eliminated—whether in Gaza, Beirut, Damascus, or Tehran. Israel is not seeking escalation—it is enforcing its fundamental right to self-defense.
