Extensive Security Operations Across Judea and Samaria
Over the past week, Israeli security forces carried out extensive counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria, leading to the arrest of approximately 75 wanted suspects and the seizure of 17 weapons. These operations are part of the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of Israeli civilians and prevent terrorist attacks.
During the operation in Al-Yamun, in the Menashe Brigade sector, forces arrested four wanted suspects and confiscated two M-16 rifles. In Hebron, in the Yehuda Brigade sector, two additional suspects were arrested, and another two M-16 rifles were seized.
Additionally, during an operation in Imatin, in the Ephraim Brigade sector, security forces confiscated tens of thousands of shekels in terrorist funds, which were intended to finance terrorist activities.
Major Operation in Jericho and Interrogation of Dozens of Suspects
As part of Israel’s relentless fight against terrorism, security forces also conducted an operation in the city of Jericho, in the Jordan Valley and Emek HaBaka Brigade sector, where several wanted suspects were arrested, and dozens of individuals were interrogated for suspected terrorist activity. The operation in Jericho aimed to dismantle terrorist networks and disrupt hostile activities in the area.
All detained suspects and confiscated weapons have been transferred for further investigation and processing by Israeli security forces.
