Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Air Force, openly saluted the Houthi militia in Yemen for launching missile and drone attacks against Israel in support of Hamas in Gaza.

Speaking after recent U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen, Hajizadeh praised the Iran-backed terror group for what he described as their “steadfast support for the people of Gaza,” further confirming that Tehran is not just a supporter—but the mastermind—of the multi-front war against Israel.

“We salute the Houthis for standing with Gaza. Their resistance is a model for all the region’s free peoples,” Hajizadeh said.

Iran’s Fingerprints on Every Front

The statement comes as no surprise to Israeli defense officials, who have long warned the international community that the Houthis are one of several Iranian proxy militias operating as part of the regime’s regional strategy to encircle and destroy the Jewish state.

Since October 7, when Hamas launched its massacre against Israel, Iranian-backed forces have opened fire from every front:

  • Hamas in Gaza with thousands of rockets and terror tunnels.
  • Hezbollah in Lebanon with near-daily missile attacks.
  • Shiite militias in Syria and Iraq, targeting Israeli and U.S. forces.
  • And the Houthis, who have launched long-range ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv and Israeli strategic assets.

Iran’s open acknowledgment of this coordinated assault destroys any pretense that the war is limited to Gaza or about “territory.” It is about ideological annihilation, backed, funded, and coordinated by the regime in Tehran.

The World’s Silence Is Enabling Terror

While Iran praises its proxies for attacking civilians, much of the international community remains focused on pressuring Israel to halt its self-defense operations in Gaza. The fact that the IRGC Air Force commander is celebrating ballistic missile attacks on Israeli cities should be front-page news across every Western capital.

“This is state-sponsored terror in its rawest form,” said an Israeli defense analyst. “And yet Iran is still treated like a legitimate international actor.”

Israel continues to defend its citizens from a regional war it did not start—but one it must win. Iran’s open celebration of attacks on Israeli civilians reaffirms the justness of Israel’s campaign to dismantle the terror network at its source.
