Yuval Raphael, a survivor of the Nova Music Festival Massacre, will represent Israel at Eurovision 2025. Just months after enduring one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Israeli history, Raphael is set to take the stage at one of the world’s biggest musical events, carrying a message of strength, remembrance, and a new beginning.

Her song, “A New Day Will Rise”, embodies the spirit of survival, capturing Israel’s determination to overcome tragedy.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists attacked the Nova Music Festival, murdering hundreds of innocent concertgoers in cold blood. Raphael was among the survivors who hid for hours, listening to gunfire and screams as terrorists hunted down and executed festival attendees.

The Nova Massacre became a symbol of Hamas’ brutality, with footage of the attack shocking the world. Now, Yuval Raphael is turning that pain into music, channeling her trauma into a song of hope and defiance.
