Israeli Airstrike Eliminates Terrorists Operating Islamic Jihad Drone in Gaza

A recent Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza targeted a group of terrorists operating a drone on behalf of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, intelligence confirms. The UK-registered Al Khair Foundation initially claimed that the strike killed its charity workers and journalists, but Israeli intelligence has now exposed that several of the individuals were in fact Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, some of whom were disguised as journalists and photographers.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the strike was aimed at “two terrorists who were identified operating a drone that posed a threat to Israeli troops.” The IDF further stated that after the initial strike, “additional terrorists collected the drone operating equipment and entered a vehicle. The IDF struck the terrorists.”

Intelligence sources confirmed that the drone was in continuous use by Islamic Jihad, including at the time of the strike, contradicting claims that the individuals were conducting humanitarian work.

Terrorists Disguised as Journalists and Aid Workers

Several of those killed were later identified as known Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives, some of whom had previously infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre or were released in hostage deals and returned to terrorism. The list of eliminated terrorists includes:

  1. Mostafa Mohammed Shaaban Hamad – Hamas terrorist who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre.
  2. Mahmoud Yahya Rashdi Al-Sarraj – Terrorist in Hamas’ engineering unit involved in terror infrastructure.
  3. Bilal Mahmoud Fouad Abu Matar – Hamas terrorist operating under the cover of a photographer.
  4. Mahmoud Imad Hassan Aslim – Hamas terrorist disguised as a journalist.
  5. Suhaib Bassem Khaled Nagar – Islamic Jihad terrorist who had been released in the last hostage deal.
  6. Mohammed Alaa Sobhi Al-Jafeer – Hamas terrorist.

Despite these clear connections to terrorist activity, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate and Hamas-run sources have accused Israel of “targeting journalists.” However, Hamas has a long history of embedding its operatives within media organizations to shield its terrorists from airstrikes and manipulate global media narratives.

Hamas’ False Ceasefire Claims

Hamas called the strike a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire, but it continues to violate the agreement itself by holding Israeli hostages, smuggling weapons, and preparing for renewed attacks. Hamas has rejected reasonable ceasefire terms, instead demanding immunity for its terrorists while still threatening to repeat the October 7 massacre.

The terrorist group also attempted to deceive mediators by hiding hostages within civilian homes and deliberately obstructing negotiations while demanding a permanent ceasefire to preserve its military power.

Hamas-controlled agencies in Gaza continue to manipulate casualty figures by inflating numbers and counting terrorists as civilians. While Hamas’ health ministry claims over 48,300 casualties, these numbers lack independent verification and fail to distinguish between terrorists and civilians. Additionally, Hamas-run hospitals routinely refuse to release the names of casualties, further casting doubt on their legitimacy.

This latest incident underscores Hamas’ long-standing tactic of using media personnel and humanitarian workers as cover for terrorist activities. The IDF remains committed to neutralizing threats while minimizing harm to non-combatants. However, as long as Hamas continues using journalists, aid workers, and civilians as human shields, tragic consequences will remain an inevitable outcome of its terrorist strategy.

The international media must stop whitewashing Hamas’ crimes and propagating false narratives that disguise terrorists as innocent civilians. Israel has the right to defend itself against armed combatants—regardless of what fake titles Hamas assigns to them.
