The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have expanded their ground operations across the Gaza Strip, intensifying their mission to dismantle Hamas and its terror affiliates. Troops advanced into the Shaboura neighborhood of Rafah in southern Gaza in recent hours, targeting and destroying multiple Hamas terror infrastructures embedded deep within civilian zones.

In a coordinated operation, IDF units neutralized command-and-control centers used by Hamas operatives to direct attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. According to military reports, the site had been actively used in recent months to plan and execute ambushes, rocket fire, and infiltration attempts into Israeli territory.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces continue operating in key areas of northern Gaza, including the Netzarim Corridor and coastal sectors. In the north, troops dismantled a major Hamas command post, which had served as a hub for coordinating terrorist attacks. This site is among dozens of military installations discovered in civilian buildings, proving once again Hamas’ systematic use of human shields and its cynical abuse of the Gazan population.

The Israeli Air Force played a crucial role in the operation, striking terrorist positions across Gaza. Airstrikes targeted Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operatives, weapons caches, and rocket launch sites. The IDF confirmed that precision munitions were used to minimize collateral damage while ensuring that terror assets were eliminated.

“The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to operate against all terror organizations in the Gaza Strip to defend the citizens of the State of Israel,” said a joint statement from the military and security services.

These operations come after Hamas violated a ceasefire agreement and resumed attacks against Israel. The renewed fighting has underscored Israel’s resolve: Hamas will not be allowed to regroup, rearm, or rebuild. Every terror tunnel, every weapons depot, every command post—no matter where it hides—will be found and destroyed.

As always, Hamas and Islamic Jihad attempt to manipulate global opinion by inflating civilian casualties and using staged footage. But the facts remain: Israel targets terrorists. Hamas hides behind civilians. And the IDF operates with unmatched precision to defend its people from genocidal threats.
