The IDF’s Reserve Division 252 has intensified its offensive operations, delivering devastating blows to Hamas’ terror infrastructure.
Operating under divisional command, elite Yahalom combat engineers located and destroyed a Hamas underground tunnel stretching one kilometer—a significant piece of the terror group’s sub-surface warfare system. These tunnels have long served as Hamas’ hidden pathways for smuggling, ambushes, and launching attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers.
In another operation, forces uncovered a fully equipped rocket manufacturing workshop. Inside were launchers and raw materials used to produce short and medium-range rockets, further confirming Hamas’ strategy of embedding its military industry deep within civilian areas.
The ongoing operations have already led to the elimination of over 50 Hamas terrorists—many of whom were directly involved in rocket launches and combat operations. These targeted strikes are part of the broader campaign to dismantle Hamas’ remaining military capacity and eliminate any threat to Israeli communities.

IDF spokespersons confirmed that the mission is ongoing and that similar operations will continue as long as terror networks remain active in the Gaza Strip. “Our forces will keep operating with precision and strength to protect the citizens of Israel,” the IDF stated.
The discoveries and successful strikes underscore the IDF’s unwavering commitment to destroying Hamas’ war machine and ensuring that the horrors of October 7 are never repeated.
