Israel Facilitates Departure of Gazan Dual Nationals via Ramon Airport

Israel facilitates humanitarian evacuations as ten planes carrying dual-national Gazans depart from Ramon Airport to Europe and the Gulf.

Ten planes carrying Gazan residents, reportedly holding dual nationality, departed from Israel’s Ramon Airport this week, bound for destinations in Europe and the Gulf. The flights, arranged as part of a coordinated international operation, transported hundreds of individuals to Germany, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.

Israeli Interior Minister Moshe Arbel visited the airport on Tuesday to inspect the process, which was conducted under the supervision of Israeli security and border control officials.

“Israel is demonstrating once again that it distinguishes between civilians and terrorists,” said Minister Arbel. “Our duty is to ensure that innocent people, especially foreign nationals, can exit a war zone safely. At the same time, we are relentlessly targeting Hamas and its infrastructure.”

The departure of dual nationals from Gaza comes amid ongoing accusations by international bodies that Israel has blocked civilian movement and humanitarian access. In reality, Israel continues to facilitate the exit of foreign passport holders and provide humanitarian corridors, despite the risks posed by Hamas’ use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes.

The coordinated flights were reportedly organized in collaboration with international embassies and humanitarian agencies. Sources indicate that each passenger underwent thorough security screening before boarding.

Located in southern Israel near Eilat, Ramon Airport has become a key logistical hub for controlled humanitarian and diplomatic movements during the Iron Swords War.
With Gaza’s own infrastructure in ruins—largely due to Hamas’ use of civilian areas for military purposes—Israel has opened its territory to serve as a staging ground for controlled evacuations and medical transfers.

This week’s operation highlights Israel’s continued willingness to engage in humanitarian efforts, even as its forces battle Hamas across multiple fronts.

The evacuation of civilians through Israeli territory presents a stark contrast to Hamas’ strategy of using civilians as human shields. While Israel is facilitating safe passage for foreign nationals, Hamas continues to hold 59 Israeli hostages—including women, children, and the elderly—deep inside Gaza, often underground and in brutal conditions.

“This is the moral difference,” said an Israeli official at Ramon Airport. “We’re sending civilians to safety. Hamas is keeping them in dungeons.”

International Cooperation, Israeli Security

The flights from Ramon were secured by Israeli forces and conducted under strict coordination with the Foreign Ministry and international diplomatic missions. While some of the dual nationals were seeking temporary shelter, others are reportedly being permanently relocated by their second countries of citizenship.

Officials did not comment on whether additional evacuation flights are scheduled, but sources suggest similar operations may take place in the coming days, particularly as pressure mounts on foreign governments to extract their nationals from the conflict zone.
