IDF forces from the 401st Armored Brigade are continuing intensive operations in northern Gaza as part of Israel’s ongoing campaign to dismantle Hamas’ terror infrastructure and expand the security buffer zone along the border.
In recent days, the brigade has carried out a series of successful operations targeting Hamas operatives and assets. The IDF reported the elimination of multiple terrorists, the destruction of rocket launchers, and the neutralization of critical terrorist infrastructure.
One key achievement came through precise coordination with the brigade’s integrated fire support team. An Israeli Air Force drone eliminated a senior Hamas terrorist who served as a deputy company commander within the elite Nukhba unit—Hamas’ specialized commando force that played a leading role in the October 7 massacre of Israeli civilians.
This operation is part of Israel’s broader mission to prevent Hamas from reestablishing its military capabilities and to ensure that the northern Gaza Strip cannot be used as a launchpad for future attacks. The 401st Brigade’s ongoing presence and operations are instrumental in denying Hamas the ability to regroup or rearm.
Israel’s campaign continues with clarity: dismantle Hamas, eliminate its leadership, and restore security for the citizens of Israel. Every successful strike brings the country one step closer to that goal.
