In a targeted operation carried out this week, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) successfully eliminated Mohammad Salah Mohammad Bardawil, a senior Hamas operative who played a key role in the terror group’s propaganda and psychological warfare apparatus.
Bardawil was not a typical foot soldier. He was a central figure in Hamas’ military wing, responsible for crafting and disseminating disinformation designed to manipulate global perception and sow fear among Israeli civilians. Through his work, he actively advanced Hamas’ false narratives and incitement campaigns, acting as a critical link in the organization’s propaganda machine.
Among his most despicable acts, Bardawil was involved in producing Hamas’ cynical and grotesque propaganda videos featuring Israeli hostages held in Gaza. These videos, meant to terrorize Israeli families and manipulate public sentiment, underscored Hamas’ blatant disregard for human rights and international law.
His elimination marks a significant blow to Hamas’ psychological warfare capabilities. Israel has made it clear: those who incite, terrorize, and contribute to the machinery of Hamas’ war crimes will be held accountable.
