In the early morning hours of Sunday, at 07:23, air raid sirens sounded across central and coastal Israel as the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen launched a ballistic missile aimed at Israeli population centers. The missile, which approached Israeli airspace from the south, was intercepted outside the country by the Arrow 3 missile defense system, the IDF confirmed.

This marked one of the most widespread air raid alerts since the beginning of the Iron Swords War, with Color Red sirens activated across Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Herzliya, Petah Tikva, Netanya, Holon, Ra’anana, Givatayim, and dozens of other cities in the Sharon, Judea, and Samaria regions—impacting millions of Israeli civilians.

The Arrow 3 system, a key component of Israel’s multi-layered missile defense network, is specifically designed to intercept long-range ballistic threats outside the Earth’s atmosphere. Its successful interception prevented what could have been a mass-casualty disaster.

“This was a calculated attempt to strike densely populated urban centers,” said a senior Israeli defense official. “Thanks to Arrow 3 and the IDF’s constant readiness, countless lives were saved.”

Iran’s Expanding Proxy War Against Israel

This latest missile attack is part of a growing pattern of aggression from Iran’s terror proxies across the region. The Houthis, fully funded and directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), have now joined Hamas, Hezbollah, and Shiite militias in a coordinated multi-front war against Israel.

Since October 7, the Houthis have launched dozens of ballistic missiles and drones at Israel, some traveling over 1,400 kilometers to reach their targets. These are not symbolic attacks—they are attempts to inflict real harm on Israeli civilians, airports, and critical infrastructure.

The World’s Hypocrisy Exposed

Despite the clear and repeated acts of war committed by Iran’s terror proxies, international institutions and so-called human rights organizations remain shamefully silent. While they rush to condemn Israel’s legitimate self-defense in Gaza, they turn a blind eye to ballistic missiles launched at Tel Aviv.

The Iron Swords War is not just about Gaza. It is a regional war forced upon Israel by Iran—through terror groups who act as Tehran’s foot soldiers. The Houthis’ attack is just the latest reminder that Israel is under siege from every front—and it will respond accordingly, with force, precision, and moral clarity.
